Our Dogs
Queen Betsy of Salvation Farm
Betsy is a remarkable two-year-old purebred Great Pyrenees with an unwavering loyalty to her large family. Her protective instincts shine as she diligently guards the children, ensuring they feel safe and secure. Not only does she watch over her human companions, but she also excels at keeping predators at bay, creating a secure environment for both the kids and our animals. Betsy possesses a gentle temperament, making her a sweet companion despite her strong guarding abilities. Coming from a long line of outstanding dogs, it’s no surprise that she is a natural mother. We are amazed at how well she is managing her first litter of TEN puppies! Her combination of strength and gentleness is a testament to the breed's qualities we cherish at Salvation Farm.
Bernard the Great of Salvation Farm
Bernard was added to our family last year and turned one in May. He will serve as chief property guardian and the Sire to our litters. With his sweet temperament, he displays a calm and gentle nature, even when interacting with the children. Adding to his exceptional qualities, Bernard comes from a long line of purebred Great Pyrenees, known for their outstanding traits. He is a big, muscular defender of our property, and with him around, zero predators are coming after our other animals. He even protects my garden from birds! We love that even though he looks like a cross between a polar bear and a lion, he has the temperament of a gentle, loving pup.
